Entry to the Courtyard from the street is through an electrically operated security gate.

Outside the gate there is an entry-phone system which provides audio-visual contact with visitors.

The gate can be opened using a button in the Entrance Hall, but can only be opened from the outside by means of a remote control.

On the wall of the house facing the Courtyard, there is a colourful tiled mosaic depicting Mount Teide and other unique features of Tenerife.

The Courtyard is cobbled and there is ample parking for one vehicle.

A water hose is available for car cleaning.

At night, a bright security light switches itself on automatically when movement is detected in the Courtyard.
